Program Dates: Aug. 8, Sept. 12, Sept. 26, and Oct. 10. 2024 from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

ASCEND is designed for women across industries who seek a nurturing, non-judgmental space to enhance their leadership skills. Whether you are aiming to climb the leadership ladder in the future, looking for the next step in your career, or striving to lead your team more effectively, our cohort-based approach provides the support and guidance you need to succeed.

Target Audience:

Mid-Level Leaders – Women transitioning into or new to their management positions or entrepreneurial endeavors, along women whose next step is into management. This category also includes women in assistant director or director roles, leading strategy and shaping organizational culture, who aspire to advance to higher leadership positions.

2021 Aspire to Excel: Women's Leadership Institute

With a commitment to advancing the next level of women leaders, Capstone is offering its second annual leadership institute designed exclusively for women leaders. The purpose of the institute is to develop leadership capacity and foster leadership connections among emerging and senior women business leaders and owners that will elevate the status of women leaders by addressing barriers that keep women from ascending to senior-level positions of power, authority, and influence.

Aspire to Excel Women’s Leadership Institute officially launches on March 25 with a virtual orientation. This year’s institute includes:

  • Four 1.5-hour virtual group learning and coaching meetings (April 8, April 22, May 6, and May 20) Topics will be tailored to the development needs of the cohort and may include self-awareness and confidence; communicating boldly, empowered influence, leading change, and other relevant topics.

  • 1:1 virtual leadership coaching sessions at the beginning and during the program (scheduled independently)

  • Leadership effectiveness assessments and feedback reports

  • On-Demand coaching conversation with a Capstone Organizational Leadership Consultant (scheduled independently)

  • Learning Partner application & accountability sessions (scheduled independently)

  • Weekly modules released from Dr. T’s Toolkit for Leadership Excellence

  • Secure and exclusive access to the Aspire to Excel online learning portal replete with articles, checklists, as well as discussion groups, and private chat capability with cohort colleagues and Dr. T throughout the program.

  • *Bonus* Pre-Program Excelerator - a 2.5-hour, private, life purpose & action planning coaching session with Dr. T.

Target Audience:  

Women who long for a safe, judgment-free environment to learn, grow and feel supported as they build their individual leadership capacity; who aspire to ascend into the leadership ranks in the future or as the next step along their career paths; and/or who have achieved a leadership position or business ownership but want to lead more effectively to have a broader and more powerful impact.

Two Cohorts:

  • Emerging Leaders – women who aspire to management roles and managers/leaders who are early in their leadership career or business owners who are new to leading a team.

  • Senior Leaders – women who lead strategy and shape organizational culture who are in a director or higher-level position and/or who manage managers and directors. This cohort is also for business owners who are expanding their team.
